I'd say so, from what I hear around me.

I want to say yes. I can't say "most" men, but based on my boyfriend's male perspective, apparently, many women are perceived as weak because they allow themselves to be driven by emotion. For this reason, he strongly feels that a woman president would never suffice.

A lot of men refuse to understand that it isn't that women are "driven" by emotion, we simply acknowledge it. A lot of men deal with emotion by pretending it doesn't exist; putting it on the back burner to achieve the greater task. However, dealing with emotion isn't a waste of time ("that could be spent doing something more productive"). Dealing with emotion at its onset actually saves time, if anything. It allots more time to future productivity by minimizing what could later be a huge problem while it's still small. Because many men do not try to understand the psychology behind this sort of emotional laundering, women are left to feel the stigma of such character assassinating.

Many other factors come into play as well, however. History, for instance, plays a huge role in this kind of programmed stereotyping. What's sad is how it's still being perpetuated in modern form. Greatly contributing are the media-generated notions of I don't know..."womanality." Some false ideal of feminine "reality." Our society has adopted a tendancy to try to normalize widely accepted views. Such as the way a women "should" look, dress, feel, behave, etc. This leaves men to believe that women are non-human things to accessorize, trophy, and exploit. Understandably, led by this notion I can see why men deem women as weak and view themselves as superior. However, all isn't lost. New waves of thinking are sweeping the globe and women are earning back their rightful equalibrium with men. Besides, not all men are corrupted by the same perspective, obviously.

I've heard that some men consider themselves superior to women in some areas and in other areas inferior. I have heard the same from the women and I think there is truth in that. For there are things men do better than women and there things women ar better at than men. This is a great mystery of creation that we can not fully understand, but accept as it is.

Speaking as a woman, yes on average a man is superior. Men are more likely to get something done with their lives while women are more content to be a house wive or a slut.

On the other hand both genders have a lot to desired in we are mostly cowardly, ignorant, sex mongers, sheep, proud and stand for nothing but our own survival.

There are of course exceptions in both cases.

Some individuals consider themselves superior to other individuals. I don't understand the concept of dividing humanity into two distinct and separate groups. Why create imaginary barriers? Why create unnecessary hostility? ... I can't answer your question, because I can't possibly know what all women, or even women in general think about. :)

Most cultures are taught that men are to take care of, and respect their wives. Some men take this to mean that they are superior, and some men take this to mean that women need protection. Either way, there is some sense of superiority in most men.

Most of the men I am around at work believe they are superior to women. Of course I wouldn't agree with their thinking. ;-)

That's a rather vague and subjective question.

Superior how?

Both genders have predispositions to certain superiorities over the other in specific aspects.

I can't speak for "most men", so I can only relate my own feelings on the matter. Yes, I do, in most aspects.

Because men have dominated society historically. Not as much anymore, but generally, society is still patriarchal. Many men don't think women should do any of the high-end jobs (lawyers, doctors, etc.)

Many people have a superiority complex over something. If it's not about sex, it is age or race or class. It's not that everyone does. Enough people do that it effectively overshadows the rest of us.
