(we're both girls)

im quite in a dilemma. this girl turned me down and said we should just be friends. i agreed but wrote a letter how awkward it is for me, maybe in the future. the next day she laughed saying the letter was funny. the last time we saw each other, the short conversation was awkward. havent talked to her in a month. she knows i know her bday. im afraid greeting her may mean im ready to be friends (and she may try to see me or ill hear her voice again, which may just hurt me) but if i dont greet her, it may seem im very bitter and cruel. i know this may be a silly question but for some reason, its hard for me to decide on this.

she liked me before, but she just 'lost' it due to lack of 'connection'.

I say take a pass on the b-day.
You need to put yourself first in this.
Doing nothing is the cleaner decision because you can then stop thinking about it.
If you send a card or something you will continue to go through changes wondering how she will respond.
Forget it and lat it go.
Frankly she sounds like a bit of a bitc* for laughing at your letter.
So she doesn't sound like a friend worth having in the first place.
And no not acknowledging her b-day doesn't mean you are bitter or cruel.
It just means you don't feel it is appropriate and in truth is the more mature decision.

Take a clue from her and move on. This relationship is over.

well, if you're stillnot ready to be friends.. but you want to send her a birthday greeting, go ahead.. just put a sidenote on it telling her you're still not ready.

why did u even bother asking her out if you r a girl to unless if u are a lezbo then it isnt that weird but if u want to ask another girl out find out if she is a lezbo or not if not be smart enough to not ask her out and find a guy!
