start jumping up and down in the water? Sometimes they all face the same direction, too... it's freaky!

Read the whole question. I'm not complaining about the one piece suits.

Let me just add that I am nopt talking about an organized aerobics class... just women jumping up and down compulsively.... I have observed it too often for it to be a coincidence, there is some sort of phenomena going on here!

it could be the fact that in the water the buoyancy removes the pain caused by the weight..so they get to do movements they normally cannot.

Dude, that is just plain weird. You just like the feeling of wearing a woman's swimsuit... it's all in your mind... it has nothing to do with being able to tumble turn faster... in fact... it's the extra drag that is likely to make the turn slower. Better to wear nothing at all, or fastskin jammers. A swim team that make their men's team wear one piece girls suits are "joking"... trying to build team spirit. On the other hand, if you are in a triathlon in open water full of jellyfish, a one piece is a great idea in preference to a spring suit... but you could wear speedos and a rash shirt instead.... easier to remove the rash shirt at the change, I imagine. As for the high cut sides... sexy.

Actually the last time I went to a public pool most of the "large & lovely" women were wearing bikinis.

Perhaps for the same reason that everyone standing in an elevator faces the door.

That sounds like a water aerobics program. The only thing worse than fat women in bathing suits is fat women in spandex!

Maybe they're doing water aerobics?

Or maybe they feel lighter in the water...
