We have put wire around the base of 80 bradford trees that we have around our pond and our property. We were told that you should also paint the trunks of each tree with some solution to heal the bark. Need some immediate help in this department. Thank you

Hi,
I'm not sure but, your state dept. of conservation should be able to offer a solution.
They may offer to trap and relocate them for you.
I wouldn't shoot them because they are probably protected under various wildlife laws.
Otherwise, upgrade to a chain-link type fencing made of heavy wire.
Hope this may help some, best of results to you,
Dave

In MI the wildlife officers will not remove problem beavers. You can trap them yourself or find a trapper to do it for you.

you could contact your state fish and game dept. and have the animals removed.
