I need to know how to pronounce Hannah-Barbara, the creator of many kids cartoons. Is it barbara like the name barbara or is it pronounced bar-bear-a as I have heard it said?

no u were right the first time.
its hannah barbara as in the names
(han-ah barb-bra)
ok ok so guess it sounds like i was wrong. but i have been calling it hannah barbara for years and no one has ever corrected me. in fact everyone i know calls it hannah barbara.
oh well!
i am now re-educated.

Hannah Bar-bear-ah sounds right. I never heard anyone call them Hannah Barbara.

the correct name is actually Hanna Barbera
