Nope, but there IS a catch. They make you finish a certain amount of offers + have your friend sign up and complete theirs. So in essence, they give you an ipod once you and 5 of your friends complete their 5 offers. So they get 30 offers finished and they get paid a lot of money for it. They're usually legit though.

It works like this, they get your email address and bombard you with spam, you have to take up trials for stuff you probably dont need, then you get a minimum amount of other people to do the same - then you go into a draw to win an iPod, which you wont win.

Its a con.

You generally have to buy some product that you don't want and refer so many friends. They in turn have to do the same. When your score from their referals reaches a certain level then you have to apply for the iPod, by that time you are so pi**ed off you give up. That's the bottom line, give up before you start, save yourself the cost and trouble !!!

There was actually a thing on bbc.co.uk about this the other week. It explains how the sites can afford to give out so many free ipods and laptops and stuff. if you search the BBC.co.uk website i'm sure you'll find it :) it was very interesting!

@ 1st there seems to be no catch, but then u get spam and spam and that spam becomes a virus and so on, i think it would be cheaper if u buy the iPod, then havin to replace the hole computer because of a virus.

Don't do it. Its a whole load of crap! You would have to get involved with other things and have to buy other crap to get the thing free. Plus they will keep buggin you about it by sending you crap e-mails.
