If he cleared history..go to tools next to favorite,go down to internet options,go to setting(under temporary internet files), and then view files.
Whenever you go on the internet it goes into a temporary folder.
Hope it helps.

Hit the Ctrl and H buttons for the history of Internet websites visited to pop up. If you think he's on any inappropriate sites (or even if you don't), talk to him about using the Internet for the wrong reasons and about how you want to trust him but can't if he's visiting inappropriate sites. You can also look up some stories of how kids have gotten in trouble with the Internet in your newspapers, magazines, online, wherever and share some of them with him. You want to mention that you care about him and want him to be safe and that that's the bottom line. But whatever you do, don't get mad at him or start yelling. If you think he's spending too much time on the computer, work out a time limit, like 45 minutes a day. Don't go all commander (No computer on weekends, only IM friends I know personally, etc.), though, or he'll think you're being ridiculous and will continue whatever he's doing anyway. You can add that it's healthier to be outdoors and see friends and stuff than to sit at a screen that can ruin your eyes all day. I hope you feel helped!

First thing you need to do is have the computer in an area of the house where there is no privacy. Not in a bedroom where he can use it behind closed doors. It should be in a living room or hallway where you will be walking around behind him frequently and able to look over his shoulder.
You can also check the computer's history to view all the websites that were accessed each day.

First, check your browser's history file. Chances are he's not thinking to erase these files when he leaves the computer. If he is, just go to the content tab in Internet options and filter what the computer can display. You can override these settings with a password.

Google "Free Keylogger" and it's a program that will open up with a combination of keystrokes and it will keep a log of everything he types. Also, you can check the history by pressing Ctrl+H whenever your browser (i.e. Firefox / Internet Explorer) is open.

click on the history tab and they will all show up. I think you shouldn't allow him to use your PC too much, you can change passwords and stuff so he cant use it so much.

There are programs you can buy to check out everything......Talk to someone at Radio Shack or any computer store...tell them your concerns and they'll hook you up.

Ask him what sites he gets on. If you hear him say one that you think is inappropriate, tell him that. If you can, suggest some sites for his age group. Hope this helped.
