I don't hate people who drive SUV's. I wonder often why they think they can drive them, when they can't swerving in and out of their lane. Why they MUST back into spots rather then pulling into them. But I don't hate them.

In my place, most of the SUV drivers are aggressive, arrogant, and often drive in a reckless way. Also, in my place, most of the SUV owners, even Jeeps and Land Rovers, never even take their car off the road ! They buy it simply because it looks tough and muscular. Owning an American branded even makes them feel more tough, like owning a Harley Davidson. As for the rest of the world, I dont know, but that's the story and stereotype in my place.

Rarely will u encounter a person driving a SUV that really truly needs such a huge, gas guzzler.... They will never ever see dirt like they are designed for instead they will only realize the worthless existence of satisfying some ego centric house wife's need to keep up with the Joneses....

SUV's use more gas than smaller cars. Most people hate SUV's because of environmental reasons. Gas prices are higher than they used to be and there is less of it out there. Unless the space is really needed, owning an SUV can seem like a waste and very unnecessary

These vehicles sometimes mean that the driver has a lot of money and they they don't care about the environment. Either is usually the case but society loves to generalize.

People that hate are ignorant.

We have two pick-ups, one small GMC Sonoma, love it!! And one huge diesel Dodge Ram 2500 4x4, oh, and a Triton Boat, (196), so pardon me for having the cash to be able to run all three of those, I work really hard for it and so does my hubby.

We do keep all of those vehicles properly tuned, so the do not have excessive emissions, and the boat has an Optimax motor, very low pollution, does not leave a shiny rainbow trail on the water.

I don't hate them, I just don't like them..

For one, they are polluting the air with their oversized vehicles
They are huge and you can't see around them too. Also, the people who drive them are often rich snobs. So there, there are my reasons :-)
