Metallic paint generally looks better than a flat colour but it is far more difficult to match if its damaged. usually its made up of several different coats, a base coat, a second coat with a metallic speckle, in it and finally a lacquer top coat. The problem comes because air pressure in the spray gun, temperature and amount of paint built up can all change the colour.

Pro's- Looks great
Cons- harder to paint a car, then to do touch up, and match if need later on. I would still get metallic if I had any of my vehicles painted.

in case you circulate with a place like Earl Schieb, it is going to look precisely like what you paid; low-priced. on the different hand, 4 grand for sparkling coat is only ridiculous. A physique save could be waiting to restoration greater luster via buffing, however the only thank you to verify is to attempt an no longer somewhat seen section.

Pros: It looks good and hides the dirt well.
Cons: It costs more to repair in if scratched or dented.
