1. My wife does find it disrespectful, and no I don't and shouldn't watch it anyways.
2. No it's not wrong for her to ask her husband not to watch it. Because I think a husband who watches porn is being disrespectful to his wife, because he's content with his wife.
I used to look at porn, and I gave it up.
Now, I am pefectly happy with the only woman's body I look at being my wife's.

I am answering this for my husband because he is reformatting his computer and can't answer right now:
His answer: Think of it like a art gallery, just because you go and look at pictures of places you know you will never go to, it that wrong? Men appreciate women's bodies, that is one of the reasons he married you. Why would you want to be married to a man who is not attracted to the female form. If you don't like porn, don't watch it, and ask him not to watch it around you. This could be a reasonable request.
My answer:
I don't find porn disrespectful, if I did, I would ask my husband to not watch it when I am around. I do not feel it is right to ask him not to watch it at all, if it is something that he likes to do. I am sure there are things that he doesn't like to be apart of that you do. Respect each others likes and dislikes and stop trying to control everything.

1. I think, this question should be addressed before the couple is even married. If porn is a big part of a person's reality, it will be apparent, and the couple needs to come to an agreement about it. 2. It's not wrong to set up certain "guidelines", but to expect a man to drop porn altogether is an unrealistic proposition. It's not about being wrong or right, it's about being realistic. Is it wrong for him to ask her to never go shopping for clothes again? It isn't "wrong" - but how realistic is it to make such request?

All men like it don't be offended. i use to be when i was younger I'm 28 now and my husband occasionally looks at it on the web but I don't care I guess it is just a man thing. He doesn't look at real life women at least not in front of me so I would rather he look at the web then embarrass me at the grocery store!!!!! I think it is human nature

you want the truth?!! here goes, EVERY MAN looks at porn. Preachers, teachers, lawyers, contractors, policeman...etc. Is that an excuse? No. Is it wrong? Yes. This is a much bigger problem than it seems. Because it is embarrassing. Tell him to go to a support group.

Should you ask him to stop his indulgence? No. Is it disrespectful to you? It could be, if you have to confront this vice directly. If he takes steps to keep it away from you and it doesn't interfere with your interaction with him, then he's acknowledging your distaste for it and working a compromise. If you try to forbid him his indulgences, he'll most likely only want it more. Respect his individuality and he will most likely respect yours.
