I agree with you. I hate hypicrits too, one of my friends is a really big one. I can be a hipicrit sometimes, but not as much as my friend. Everyone should be treated equal

How do you define equality and fairness? Some people think fairness means that everyone has the same opportunity; others define fairness as everyone has the same final outcome no matter how different they may be in ability, talent, or skill. As you can see, these are two very different ideas!
How you define "fairness" will determine whether or not you believe it will apply to all situations and people, and this will influence many other aspects of your philosophy and political choices.

I believe that we are all equal, and that everything in this world belongs to everyone. Not everyone has the same ability to make it in a capitalistic marketplace, and I personally think capitalism is evil, because it is set up so that some are guaranteed to succeed and others are guaranteed to fail. Capitalism is set up to favor only those who have the right temperaments and talents. Everyone is valuable in their own way, and god does not require us to earn our keep. It is immoral for any society to even allow any person, for any reason to remain homeless or hungry, but you can not legislate morality! When most of the people of this world become spiritually evolved enough, things will change. We are, as a whole, a very primitive society! And one of the primary signs of a primitive society is the unwillingness to share with everyone, all the time, no matter what! One of the primary signs of an evolved society, is the unwillingness to let anyone do without having all of heir basic needs met.

I believe in equal opportunities, not equal outcomes. That is why I define myself as a Moderate Republican. I am not camparable to GWB in any way, but am an anti-socialist. I do not support welfare or other dependency/entitlement based programs because it gets away from the need of people to earn. A "helping hand" I can accept, but not dependency. We have gotten too far away from the need to "pull yourself up by your own boot-straps" and believe that government needs to somehow influence our society to get back to those standards.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY - Yes.
EQUAL OUTCOME - Thats up to the individual person to earn.

You seem to be going somewhere with this argument so what is it??? Equality is a great thing - - -but it does have its limits as this is a non-prefect world.
How do you define equality -
everyone can do the same job?
women in combat like in Israel?
every nation admitted to the UN?
What is your point of contention?

Oh this Country LOVES to kid us about how we are so equal! Why do so called "Minority Groups" get so much special treatment and benefits? Why are Singles Taxed so unfairly Etc. Etc.....
I DREAM of a time when we are all just allowed to exist on a truly "Level" playing field!

I believe we are all equal as well, and am against hypocrisy...therefore, under those criteria, I believe affirmative action is dead wrong and intellectually injust.
An addendum: I believe we are all equal as humans and all equal UNDER THE LAW including those humans who are trying to enter the country illegally...I'd really like that to stop.
