This is very difficult, because I'm 14, and in my whole life, I haven't even reached 1000 dollars. If you have to make a commitment to yourself, which you seem very eager to go to Europe, so you will probably do anything to go! I would too.
Begin a business (something you have passion towards or your good at) such as dog sitting dogs (Hundreds of people will give money to people just to feed and love their dogs) or babysitting. Try around the neighborhood and put of flyers, and in newspapers. You can mowe the lawns or if it's snowing, shuffle pathways. You can find jobs that let 14 year old work. There are hundreds of ways to earn money, but you will have to work very hard to earn 3500 in only 6 months, because your only 14.
Good luck and my best of wishes to you!

You may be able to leverage any talents you have.
1) Tutoring - I heard one student tutor in our district was making $50 an hour. The course they were tutoring was pretty difficult. Something like AP Chemistry.
2) Music - I heard from one music teacher that top students could pick up $200 by playing in groups at local events.
3) Sports - If you are a top athelete and can teach what you
know to others, you might be able to find parents that are willing to pay for lessons.

You may also look out for an option to work online to make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I say you should start a teen website with advertisers. Depending on where you live, you can review all of the available forms of entertainment for teens. You could also review anyplace to eat. Start it as a company and all of this will be tax deductible. Heck- review your trip to Europe, and that will be, too!
Good luck!

If you babysit on average, every day for the next 6 months, and for each babysitting assignment you receive $20, you can accumulate $3,650.

Babysitting, mowing lawns, cleaning houses in your neighborhood. Unfortunately you're limited with your age.
