I'd like to say some of the bands I love. But that would just mean that they'd really suck and I wouldn't know them anymore. I don't think Led Zeppelin would get very far off the ground with me at the guitar. I'm good but not Jimmy Page good.
I'd have to go for Sharron, Lois and AWTMHMG.

I'd be in Rush, definitely. Neil Peart is the best drummer in the world, literally! Check out his drum solo on the Rush R30 DVD! It is very awesome! It would be the ultimate dream to be on stage with Geddy, Alex, and Neil!

i like them! i myself love the sound of old '60s and '70s rock and that i rejoice with it while cutting-edge bands that reprise that sound. i might desire to work out the place fairly some them might desire to be seen rip-offs like Rival Sons (Led Zeppelin), Airbourne (AC/DC) or White Wizzard (Judas Priest and Iron Maiden) or otherwise only no longer unique yet this does not prepare to each band. a number of them are truthfully particularly unique with their very own distinctive sound like the Black Keys, Wolfmother, The Darkness, The Black Angels, and others. i understand a universal criticism for them is them sounding unfashionable or "old" yet such as you mentioned, it only is going to coach you the way influential those older rock bands are and how sturdy their legacy is and there is not any longer something incorrect with a band incorporating a valid resembling the music that inspired them into their music. Hell, is there even a technology of rock music that did no longer do something like that and replaced into one hundred% unique? BQ1: The Black Keys BQ2: crimson Floyd. and you're outstanding, "classic rock" is basically a radio term to describe older "classic" acts like those you listed. I roll my eyes every time I see somebody use it as though its a subgenre. <_< EDIT: hey there, Beatle enthusiast! thank you, it extremely is solid to work out you back besides. :)
