i run virus scans on what not and they say nothing there and it was noting wrong with it a few days ago. everything esle works.

run the following two menus of ccleaner
cleaner > Analyze > Run Cleaner
Issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues

Clear up your cookies in your temporary internet files. It slows down your computer. You might want to also run a spyware scan too.
Also you might want to try Firefox like someone else suggest.

if the IE doesn't work that day it might work the next day, this happen to me too. firefox is good source for second Internet connection if the IE doesn't work . i have AOL for my second Internet connection
