No. None of the restaurants offering Character meals require a deposit in order to make reservations. I just made reservations the other day for Cinderella's Royal Table and I did not have to pay any fee. However, certain Character meals and dinner shows (like the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show) do require a credit card number to make the reservations. This is just so that if you do not show up for the mea and do not cancel your reservations within 48 hours, they may charge you.

Remember, start making reservations for any Character meals exactly 180 days in advance. I'm going to Walt Disney World in July and just had to make all of my dining reservations last week. Luckily, I got reservations to Cinderella's Royal Table. There's only a 20 minute window to make reservations before they're completely filled. It's crazy!

Hope I could help!

As you've read above, no - there are no deposits required. Make your dining reservations early by calling 407-WDW-DINE. A lot of people often ask if they will be charged anything if they don't show up for a reservation they made. The answer to this questions is also no. If you do not show up after half an hour from the time you were supposed to dine, they just give your table to someone else.

Listed below are some of my favorite character meals:

1900 Park Fare - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa: enjoy a wide variety of American food while schmoozing with the Disney princesses!

Chef Mickey's - Contemporary Resort
This ia favorite among kids. See your favorite Disney characters dressed up in adorable chef robes and hats!

Liberty Tree Tavern - Magic Kingdom Park
Enjoy a hearty meal at this restaurant. You'll find a variety of meals here, such as pot roast, mased potatoes, green beans, meat loaf, turkey, and more!

Just did it the other day through my travel agent, no deposit needed. If you go to the Disney sight you can look under restaurants and there is a direct number to call for reservations. But, do it in advance, we are going in Feb and the prime times are already taken!

No. If you call (407) WDW-DINE before you go, you just need your reservation code and where you are staying. I made reservations a couple of weeks ago for an April vacation. They take reservations up to 180 days in advance, so try to make your plans as far ahead as possible.

Our favorites have been Mickey's outdoor BBQ (the practice grow to be large as grow to be the nutrition) and Pooh and buddies on the Crystal Palace (the nutrition grow to be superb and the ambience grow to be plenty quieter). somebody else pronounced the Disney eating Plan and that's a thank you to pass. It finally ends up being extra inexpensive than procuring nutrition on the parks and you get lots of large thoughts.

Certain reservations in the park such as Cinderella's castle require a deposit, others don't. If you plan on using the meal plan, they just take your infomration - however, keep in mind - Cinderella's dinner costs 2 meals!

I don't think so...I think as long as you have tickets, you're able to make reservations...but make sure you do it well in advance!
