It is based on size of baby (circ of head i think). but the dates are only a guidline. nothing to worry about.

Basically all of the above lol. In the begining of the pregnancy it's an estimate. So once the baby grows more they can detect a lot, and migth change the due date a couple of times. I'm a little sad, I hope they don't change mine again. It's happened twice. Good luck.

My dates were replaced for my very last toddler. At fist i become due the properly of would and then after the ultrasound i become June eleventh. My son become born June fifth yet i become brought about at 39 weeks. purely be prepared for any date and do not get brought about that is a few type of loopy discomfort. My fist become organic and it become ninety 5% more suitable than being brought about. at the same time as i become brought about i doesn't dilate previous an 8 and had to have a c-section. What i'm telling you with all this rambling is be affected human being and revel in being pregnant your toddler will come at the same time as he/she is waiting. good success!

its based on the size of the baby. mainly the baby's head they can tell the size and the age of the baby. so depending on that. depends on the babys due day. dont worry about the due date and why he is changing it. its fine

Yes...everything you just listed. They shouldn't change it after the 20th ultrasound becuz babies can be differen sizes after that. Unless your conception date just makes no sense.

Exactly - they look at the baby's measurements and they go by that - I had the same issue but I planned my pregnancy and therefore I know exactly when was the first day of my last period - go to this website and you will be able to calculate when you are due per your menstrual period. http://www.medcalc.com/pregnancy.html
Good Luck.

go by ure own dates!!! my due date was changed as my son is short, his length measured 2 weeks earlier than the rest of him, so they changed my due date by 2 weeks. he was born at 36 weeks according to them, but he came out with no probs looking suspiciously full term, which according to my dates, he was. so, i never take the sonographers word as gospel, i trust my dates! meanwhile, he is now average length!!

the size of eveything and your babys weight...but it gets harder to determine your due date after you hit 13 weeks because they all grow at different rates.
