You can make money babysitting or doing yardwork for neighbors. Very few businesses hire under the age of 16, a few will hire as young as 15.

Cleaning, kitchenwork, packing, running errands, gardening, babysitting, newspaper delivery are some of the jobs available. These jobs will be posted in local newspapers and billboards. Many businesses hesitate to employ minors because of the legal restrictions on working hours and documentation required. A better option is to work from home on your computer-write articles, sell on eBay,make a website, take surveys. In some cases, you may have to set up an account in your parents or guardians name, and ask them to pay you, after they get the money for your work. You can do small things around the house or for people in your neighborhood like raking leaves, taking out their trash, doing their garden-work. In the United States of America you aren't allowed to get a job until the age of fourteen or so.

You can't get a job at that age unless your family owns a buisness or a farm. If that's the case then you can work for your family only, and then there are restrictions on hours... You may be able to mow lawns or ask a parent to get a paper route you can help them with.

You can always try to babysit for neighbors and your parents' friends..also, if you get snow during the winter go ahead and see if any of the neighbors need their sidewalks shoveled...and during the summer see if they want their lawn taken care of. I doubt you'll be able to find work in a traditional setting such as a store but if you ask around you might be able to find work among your friends and neighbors.

HI! I'm glad to see you are willng to work forwhat you want! When I was your age I babysat for money to buy a really cool new bike. My friends and I also made flyers that we gave the neighbors asking to do yard work and take care of pets. We also washed cars.
Hope this helps and god luck!

You are still too young to babysit, but I will look for childcare classes at your local YMCA or rec center. When you get a little bit older you will be ready to hire yourself out as a babysitter.

babysitting, work for people around the neighborhood, deliver newspapers, and you are never too young to do volunteer work which looks really good on college aplications and when applying for a job when you get older
