Here's what I found:

How do I get that whitish discoloration off of my aluminum wheels?

It will depend on what is causing the white material to be visible. If it is water stains, from hard water, then you can mix some white vinegar and water (4-parts white vinegar to 10-parts water) and rub it off easily with a sponge. Be sure to rinse and then dry the wheel afterwards to prevent it from happening because of the rinse water used.

If the residue is caused by an etching and discoloration of the aluminum – then you'll need to get some aluminum polish, such as Mag-Chrome Aluminum Metal Polish by Eagle One. Thoroughly clean the wheel and then follow the directions on whichever brand you purchase. This process can take quite a bit of time – and elbow grease.

attempt NEV-R-boring back. that's a non-abrasive attitude. i've got used this for a protracted time with innovations-blowing effects. in basic terms practice, then buff with a sparkling rag till the "black" stops coming off. you will get enormously stable effects utilising a pneumatic or electric die grinder gadget fastened with a buff and utilising jeweler's rouge. in case you relatively need to do it top, take them off the motor vehicle, get rid of the tires, then polish them utilising a bench fastened buffer with greater and greater finer grades of jeweler's rouge. you will choose a great shine that lasts a protracted time. i've got finished this to the forged solid aluminum wheels on my Harley Fatboy, and that they have got held up large!!! i've got spent many hours sharpening the whole motor and all the aluminum areas on my motorcycle. the secret's persistence. It takes relatively some time to do a stable job. you could initiate with a coarse casting, utilising tough sandpaper or grinding wheels and pass to a mirror delicate end, by using utilising greater and greater finer grades of abrasive.

most polished wheels have a clear coat If this is hazed your only option is to strip the wheel with paint stripper and then re-polish them and have them re-coated or simply re-polish whenever they get dull again.
