how do you fix a roller blind so it stops where you want it to. it just flips back up to the top!?

Get a new roller blind, or better yet, get mini-blinds. They work better, look nicer, and last a long time. They also are fairly cheap.

sounds like the spring has sprung. dont think you cant fix this, they are inexpensive, need to replace..
