Front page headline in my local paper on night was "Shrine to a....Chicken" with a photograph of flowers and teddy bears that had been left.
Someone had found the body of a baby, and it was taken away for tests etc, and rumours started flying around and people started leaving flowers and teddy bears with messages such as "Rest in peace, lttle one".
Test results came back, and it was confirmed that it was indeed the carcass of a chicken.
