I am 28wks pregnant (12wks or so to go! yippee! lol). My baby moves alot and recently my stomach is noticeably beginning to move. Yesterday it looked like baby was doing somersaults in there or something because my stomach was moving in little "wave" like motions. Sometimes my stomach even looks a little lop-sided.

However i think my baby is shy. Whenever anyone else is looking (grandparents to be/father to be etc) NOTHING happens! lol. No kicks no somersaults no stomach movement. AS SOON as they are no longer looking baby starts up again. I'm sure they are beginning to think i'm lying about the cool stomach movements happening because no one else EVER sees it! lol

Does anyone elses baby have "stage fright" where they move and stuff for mommy but no one else?

I ACTUALLY ALREADY HAD MY LITTLE GIRL NOVEMBER 2, 2006. WHEN I WAS PREGNANT, I USED TO TELL MY HUSBAND, "BABY, LOOK, SHE'S KICKING AGAIN!' HE WOULD LOOK AND NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN. YOU RIGHT. IT'S LIKE THEY KNOW SOMEONE ELSE IS LOOKING AND THEIR PLAYING GAMES. I WAS PROBABLY ABOUT 30 WEEKS BEFORE HE FINALLY SAW MY BELLY MOVE, BUT I WAS HUGE AND NOONE COULD MISS IT THEN. GOOD LUCK.

Yes i think that happens to everyone. You watch them all day then when u tell someone the baby stops moving.I noticed when i was pregnant the baby would never stop moving if i was laying on my back on the bed watching tv or on the couch laying back. Its was really neat to watch him move from side to side.Maybe you should try that. You and father just lay on the bed and watch tv or talk for awhile and see what happens.I hope that works for you.'

lol mine does that too. I'm only 18 weeks so it's not noticable enough to see it through the skin or anything yet, but I can feel it quite often and whenever I put my hand on my tummy, it stops!. Also when I try to get my boyfriend to feel it, the baby wont move for him either lol little bugger!

my baby is the same way, I am 34 weeks. She kicks me so hard Im moving all over. lol. Whenever my boyfriend goes to feel her kick she stops. She must be saving all the energy for when she comes out. Have a wonderful rest of your pregnancy, labor and delivery. Welcome to motherhood. Good Luck to you.

I think that happens to everyone. My mother-in-law never got to see or feel my daughter, and my son (34 weeks along) won't move for her, either.

She's the only one, though.

My husband and daughter and my mom and sisters have felt him move several times.
