A lot of people find things wrong with the West and yet have never lived or will never want to live anywhere else. Take it from someone who spent 8 years in india, life outside is hell.

"I believe that junk food tastes so good because it's bad for you".. thats what's actually happening with those criticals. It's like they are believing something they are not actually convinced with! Its always greener on the other side!!

The retards believe that America is the worst place in the world. Homer Simpson said it right. After being kicked out of Cuba, while on a rubber raft, he says "I can't believe there is a worse nation than America".
When Americans leave, they make sure to go to another western nation. Now some are going to China. I live near Mexico and the cry babies of America have no idea what poverty is. Take a trip to Mexico and NOT to a resort town and when you come back, tell us about how terrible America is. I've seen one room shacks with an entire family. Tin roof, whatever they could find for walls, no electricity, no running water. The filth that hates the west should do something about world poverty or shut up and STOP making yourselves out to the the solution!

Having been born and raised in India and living in America out of necessity, right from the beginning I've learnt to adapt to the good things of both countries and use them to the best of my advantage. Sometimes one is not in control where he/she choses to live but we do have control of how we live our lives.
Take the best of both but let go of the rest. As for one thing that I like most about America is living with people of other cultures I've learned tolerance of other cultures and even appreciate them and learn from them. America can give you material benefits and comforts if you know how to get them the right way.
But India gives what every human heart longs for...the companionship. With a billion people, its hard to get lonely. I mean Indians have the best relationships and every heart longs for a true friend and Indians are great at being true friends without being judgmental or looking down on you.
Yes, America can give you physical and monetary benefits but what's the use if you don't have a friend to share it with? Now do you know why even though many Indians are poor, they are still the richest?

I live in England, was born here, would love to live in India permenantly but we as English are not allowed to buy property there. If we could, we would, many English are desperate to get out. It's always cold, the crime rate is out of control. The government is corrupt, we are the highest taxed country is the whole of Europe, people are poor and dying, mainly the older people because they have not enough to heat their properties or feed themselves on. In England, your relations even have to pay a tax when you die. It is all about money and corruption here. Sadly, everyone I have spoken to in Asia believe that we are rich and happy when it is totally the reverse.Give me India any day

West has so many good points and some bad points . But basic human nature is to see the bad . So they want to live in the west enjoy it and talk bad about it

because at the end of the day living a lavish lifestyle for most ppl counts more than cultural values..its sad bt its true. most ordinary ppl are happy driving a good car, having a big house, having no beggars on the street. they run frm reality...how can u b happy jst cos u cant see beggars on the street? i cudnt' i know that they r still there. ppl criticize bcoz they expect too much. they expect a heaven with indian cultural values...nt gonna happen. NRIs can b such big snobs. bt jst ignore them n talk confidently to them..thts the way to burst their egotistical bubble.

I do not think they say things once they know the truth, but there may be and there are exception to all.
Nothing is easy but life is lot safer and smooter here, in the USA. It is a good life, I have see a lots of other places.
