There was none.
Here is a quote from wikipedia:
On 3 November 1929, Robert Ripley drew a panel in his syndicated cartoon, Believe it or Not!, saying, “Believe It or Not, America has no national anthem.”[citation needed] In 1931, John Philip Sousa published his opinion in favor, stating that “it is the spirit of the music that inspires” as much as it is Key’s “soulstirring” words. By a law signed on 3 March 1931 by President Herbert Hoover, “The Star-Spangled Banner” was adopted as the national anthem of the United States.

No I don't... I think it was rude and nearly treasonous... I hope she never gets to sing anywhere again. Shame on her.. just who did she think she was to make that decision. Like I said before.. when the blacks have a country of their own.. just for them alone.. then sing their national anthem there. This country is a melting pot of people and our chosen song is The Star Spangled Banner.. and some of us are proud of it. She must be like Michelle Obama.. not proud of her country .... yet!
