sequence question please help?

Question

do these sequences converge and to what limit?
an=2^n-2/(0.5)^n+7 (n=1,2,3,...)
bn=5n+n^3/1-8n^3 (n=1,2,3,...)
could someone please explain this to me any help welcome

You need to use more ( ) to make those expression clear. As written an -> inf and bn -> inf , which is certainly not what you meant.


I'm just about ready to quit trying to help people that won't take the trouble to write out their expressions in an unambiguous way.
