I was born in Cuba and because of his communist ways, I never met my family. He has destroyed my country and all I have for him is deep hate. I wish I could let go, but my father died wanting only to go back to Cuba. Now all I wish for Fidel is a slow painful death.

I think your getting your wish. He does not look so good on the news.
Perhaps after he passes America and Cuba can be friendly again.
Then you can meet your family. so don't wish it ,its coming.

Well it's human nature to hate someone who has taken a lot away from you. Given the drive and spirit of the Cuban people, soon after Fidel is gone, Cuba will be open and again the paradise it was pre-1959. I expect that in our lifetime, Cuba will be the jewel of Latin America again (will take some pain, hard work and suffering, but Cubans will rise to it). Sad that one man could keep it down like that (think of what he must have done to honest, hard-working free people to keep it that way there). Oh and I am not Cuban (U.S. of Italian decent), but look at all the Cubans have done in Miami..

I understand how you feel, Ness.

I wish we had gotten rid of Castro and worried less about Sadaam Hussein!
