There is one in progress, and I'm ready for it to be over. So they should either make peace, or start using live ammo.

No! We are all Americans (even though the Democrats forget it at times). We are all entitled to our opinions (according to The Constitution), even if other people are offended. That is what the U.S.A. is about. It's OK to criticize, make fun of, even hate people with other opinions, but it is never acceptable to even think about anything like a civil war in this country.

They are so similar that your question seems ridiculous. Take out G.A.D. (guns/abortion/death penalty) and there are few differences. They need each othber to continue their two-party stranglehold on the federal government. Why do you think Dean was knocked out in 2004?
It was a media drive-by done by a the networks that was conveniently exposed AFTER the damage was done. The networks are "two-party" biased as opposed to "right vs left" biased.

humorous? ok :-) properly the Repubs might win. The Dems might choose to speak approximately it first and verify that they had a international concensus appropriate to the conflict. that they had take it to the UN, beg and plead with the French, Germans, Russians and chinese language to connect them of their conflict against the Repubs. meanwhile the Repubs could be asserting, "we don't choose no stinking French!" and that that they had be kicking the Dems butts up one facet of the rustic and down the different. yet then interior the long-term the Dems in all risk might win out simply by fact they might get the media to persuade the inhabitants that it became a bad conflict that the Repubs have been dropping and that they've been triumphing.

are you serious?
first off, how many of the liberals would actually fight in the war?
second, the political makeup is so thorough mixed that it would literally be killing near half the country, randomly.
