He means don't cut off his penis. Lorena Bobbitt did that to her husband, John Wayne Bobbitt, a few years back because he abused her. She then got in her car and drove away with the "member" still in her hand. Realizing she was still holding it, she chucked it out the window. A cop was sent to find it and it was successfully reattaced. Isn't that something?...and probably way more than you wanted to know.
