I actually don't think so. My first ex is a great catch and I left him because of immature reasons but I'm not sorry that I let him get away.
I was crushed with my latest break up and I did what I could to salvage the relationship but if he refuses to reciprocate, it's not my fault. I'm sure there are probably times that he wishes he didn't let me get away...especially if he sees the attention I get here.

I once was sorry about letting this girl go for a while but then I found out 2 or 3 years later she is a major sk*nk now so it could for you and others be a good thing eventually.

I'm going through that right now. My wife of 20 years wants a divorce and we're currently separated. I want reconciliation and have begged and pleaded for us to stay together, but she is resolute to pursue this divorce. I'm completely heartbroken, but unless God miraculously softens her heart I fear the worse.
I hope that you have not experienced the same level of pain, but if you have and that's why you're asking the question, I am very sorry and sympathetic for you...I really do have a sense now for how you may feel.

i always say that everything happens for a reason. i once thought i completely ruined something with someone i thought i loved, he later gave me a 2nd chance and it still didnt work out. so that kinda made me feel good about it bc even if he didnt give me a 2nd chance- it wouldnt have mattered. cheer up, live your life to its fullest and learn from your mistakes dont let it rule your life.

There was one person who was MISERABLE that he let me go. So when I came back 9 years later he snatched me up and married me right away before I could get away again.
10 years ago!!

I often wonder where he is.
We can't see it then because we are to busy being pissed off at something so mundane.
