I have a problem printing onto canvas which has a satin finish (coating) my problem is the printing ink runs off when the design has been printed, and it is a blurry mess. the printer works fine on paper and i am familiar with the printer as ive been in the business for about three years, but used a roland eco-sol sp540v so slightly different set up.Is the problem related to the software or media or will this printer print on this type of canvas? ive been told by someone it will print onto treated canvas but I cant seem to program it etc.Any help welcome!!!

The printer will only print on certain types of paper. Now you have to watch it now cause all the large printers are different. Remember the bigger the printer the better options of printing on different media. Just like when you print pictures you use a different ink and a different type of paper. So someone may have told you that you cound reprogram based on another hp printer. Not all printers are the same.

Also, take notice. If you ink runs then no software can get the ink to stick to the canvas or paper. The software runs how much ink and what types of ink to run thru the inkjet nozzles.

I presume you're utilising the AutoCAD printer reason stress over the living house homestead windows printer reason stress? on the topic of the purely difficulty i will imagine of of that would artwork will be to regulate the paper dimensions to a custom length then keep on with the length and width you purely like the plotter to print to, (i.e. 11 x 8 a million/2 in place of 8 a million/2 x 11).

Please view the User Guide for this printer, specifically the Supported Media Types in Chapter 3.
