Those round oval things are actually images, so making them is as easy as using an image editor.

Many people use Adobe Photoshop which is good but expensive. But if, like most of us, you're not quite that rich, try GIMP, a free image editor which you can download on the internet [look at the link below...]

If you are running windows on your computer, you can use Microsoft Paint to make your ovals just like that! [use rectangular marquee tool (i think)].

Many people use Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop to create round ovals and shape those round ovals are images so making them is very easy as using an image editor.

If you don't want to use images and CSS - and I actually recommend this as the best option (reasons are to numerous to mention here), you can also use this JavaScript library to dynamically add rounded corners.
