college is designed to take 4 years. while studying in undergrad, you typically take a variety of courses in several areas (history, biology, psychology, math). in graduate school, you typically focus on one area in great depth. a masters degree takes 2 years while a phd takes from 4-6 years

Undergraduate hasn't graduated college yet. Graduate has, and has come back to get a higher degree in their profession.

Graduate already has a Bachelor's degree and is going for a Master's. An undergrad is going for a Bachelor's degree.

An undergrad is working on their bachelors degree while a graduate is working on their masters or higher.

An under grad is a person who has not obtained a bachelor's degree and has not completed college education while graduate is the one who has Bachelor's degree! thats it
