No not nasty - just a tad concerned!!
However what possible difference could there be between you getting water for yourself and your daughter getting it for you!
If you think about it the circumstances were more than probable in your daughters position - on a cancer ward. They deal with death every day and it is very usual for the terminally ill to ask for a nice cup of tea or glass of water!
Looked at from the other way round, would they have lived and been miraculously cured if your daughter had not got them the water? ----- Of course not, is the answer! It was simply the last act of a caring nurse tending to the very ill. You should be very proud of your daughter and accept all kind gestures from her - whatever they are.

I can see why you would feel a little uncomfortable.
Fetch your own glass of water and ask your daughter to fetch you something else instead.

If the C.O.D. of the patients had nothing to do with the water that they drank before dying and you do not consider yourself a suspicious person, than yes.

You're not in the cancer ward are you? People die of cancer every day, I think you're worrying about something for nothing.

now do you really think that she had something to do with their deaths by handing them a glass of water?
No, I do not think you are mean but I think you are thinking to much.
