it was an expensive skirt and my sis lost weight and left it lying in her room. i wanna use my sewing machine to make it smaller and i dont know how. please help.

Umm ya seriously if you need to take it in that much, it's a waste. I've tried making skirts smaller before and it needs to be close to the size you need or else it looks all uneven and sloppy. But if you dont care, just fold the sides in and sew them on the machine.

AAAHHH.
You could ruin ittt.
Go and get it altered... a lot of dry-clean places can alter clothes as well. Get it professionally done, don't do it yourself!
You could ruin it and it'd end up being a waste of money.
