I don't find Rush to be hateful at all. He simply offers his opinion about politics. He doesn't hide the fact that he is a conservative, and just discusses with who ever calls in, lib or con. He dislikes liberalism, but that is not hate, thats opinion. I think by painting Rush as hateful, they hope to discredit him. In fact, before I'd ever listened to him, I always assumed he was evil and crude, vile, insulting and well, hateful! But then I began to listen to him and found none of those stereotypes are true. In fact, he is pretty funny and nice to the callers

He's not as little as John Stuart Liberman though. They are both intellectual midgets and O'Reilly has twice the ratings. The Libs have no message and no sense of humor. Olbermann is always perving out on girls who post videos on YouTube. Look at most of his segments lately. He did the Lonelygirl15 thing. He did the "Box in a Box" thing. He's a stone-cold loser.

I'm not a lib. I used to listen to Rush. Then I realized how much he was lying and/or telling half truths. Not to mention, his entire program is based on convincing others to hate anyone who disagrees with his views.

Rush actually does peddle in hate politics. I listen to him all the time, and I like his show. But I have to call him what he is: he is an anti-liberal and a mild hate-monger.
Liberals mostly lie about him, though. They make up all kinds of stuff that isn't true because facts don't fit the current liberal agenda. "Facts" per se usually work against liberals in all areas, as do moral values.
(That doesn't make Rush a saint.)
Having said that, I would challenge all liberals to listen to his show before commenting. Otherwise, you'll have someone like me responding with examples and facts and making you look pretty dumb, my favorite hobby.
