"If women ruled the world there would never be any wars; just every 28 days, some intense negotiations" - Robin Williams

"Behind every great man stands a great woman, and behind her stands his wife" - Groucho Marx

Seriously though, race, gender or religion shouldn't come into it when choosing a leader. Seems strange that we apply more stringent rules when employing someone to clean the toilets, than we do when selecting a Prime Minister or President.

Would be nice to see more of a mixture running the world, as roughly 50% of the human population are men and 50% are women! Would like to see bad leaders like Bush or Blair run out of the office, and if a woman could do a better job, so be it!

Your back up info doesn't match your question.
Whats this bit about not wanting to hear about war?
We had a woman prime minister, (in the UK) have lots of women MP's, what good has it done, what big difference has it made to an all male Parliament?
We need good government, not single sex government.
Men and women should share governing things.

We already live in a feminised society. Too many children only see a mother, primary schools have mainly female teachers, the Foreign Secretary is a woman, the NHS is run by a woman and, by all accounts, Tony Blair is run by a woman. The American Secretary is a woman and the German Chancellor is a woman. I do not see any improvements and I am a woman.

Jings - I think Cherie Bliar, a Coke sniffing 'Clothes Horse' and a footballers scraggy wife run the world on behalf of The Self Interest Party!

Not run by women only, who ever is best suited for the position, no matter what sex.
Segolene Royale is the favorite to win France's next presidentials. It just goes to show that the mentalities are evolving, in the right direction :)

I don't think my wife would agree as she had a female site manager for 7-8 years in place of work and she made her life a complete misery. My wife now has a male boss and she finds things a lot more relaxed. I'm not saying female bosses are bad. but there are good and bad examples of both male and female bosses and that's life.

The world IS run by women!!! We're the ones who get the men up & ready for the day. Without us to get them started, blokes wouldn't have a chance in the world - we'd leave them sleeping off their hangovers, & get it done ourselves.
