Okay. This boy was being really annoying during class. I lost my temper and told him to stop acting gay. I meant it like stop acting stupid. His response was you wish i was gay. what the hecks that supposed to mean. Im sorry if i offended anyone by using gay in that manner.

I have no problem with anyones sexual orientation. I have a few friends who are bisexual and one who is gay. I have no problem with it.

You said to him to stop being gay. His response was he is wishing you were being gay-with him. This way he could have his fun. I don’t think this boy is mean to hurt or get in your nerve at all. The matter fact I think he like you. If he is a mean boy, he would say something else worst to you. I guess he will stop afterwhile if he knows he won’t have fun with you any more.

Hmm some kids can be really strange about that. Like, I am a freshman in high school but last year, my really good friend jeremy was messing around and he took my purse and was walking around (he was just doing it to be funny) and i said, omggg why are you being so gayyyy? lol. but then he got really mad. I wasnt saying it to be mean... and I know he is not gay, but he took offense to it. Also, he got really mad one time when someone said, "wow that is soooo gay" [kinda like saying stupid] but i think that within the last few years [especially this generation] the defintion of gay went from being happy, to being homosexual, to being dumb or stupid. But ever since jeremy got mad, I have been really careful about throwing the word gay around. Some people take offense to it and its one of those things that is a very touchy subject. Im not not exactlyyyy sure what that guy in your class meant by, "you wish i was gay" because that doesnt exactly make sense... But yeahh. anyways, good luck. lol. some people are sensitive so be care =P lol

It sounds like he was insinuating you were really a man and that you wished he was gay.
Please try not to use the word "gay" in that way though. It hurts real gay people's feelings when it's said in such a derogatory way. I'm sure you meant no harm though.

It was an honest mistake. He didn't mean anthing by his comment. He was just kidding around. Obviously you meant nothing by it, it's just a slang phrase that many people use. Don't worry about it.
