These people say that they have money orders and they can't get them cashed,so they can fly back to the states or have said they have some sort of manger that won't let them go without paying.

It's just an email scam. Not all Nigerians are like that, it's an email thing. You can't even be sure of where they are from for the most part. My sister fell for that and got into a lot of trouble. She owes a lot of money now because it was a complete fraud.

This is absolute rubbish. These people are crooks and are after your bank details to rob you out of every penny you own. The "Nigerian Scam" is world famous - the most common one is that they have millions of $ in a deposit and they need a non-Nigerian bank account to get the money/gold/diamonds out, getting you to cash cheques, money orders and letters of credit is another old trick. These people are THIEVES - do not trust them if you want to keep hold of your money. If they approach you delete the message or report them to the F.B.I.
These scams also come about from contact with attractive young ladies on many dating sites - they will give you loads of old stories of how they need help with education/housing/sick mother to look after or any old rubbish you might swallow. The moment a woman from a dating site talks to you about money run a mile as she is just a criminal after your wallet (most of them are not even women, just guys who use pictures of local models and a woman's name) By the way Russia is another area where super care is required.

had a girl meet__lowerbaby29,goes by susan trying to hit me for 1200 airfare.says god lad her to me. said she had a check drawn on us bank that she couldn't cash,so she needed me to send her the money
