is kwanza a real holiday?

i haven't met a single person that celebrates it and i refuse to believe it is even a holiday, i need proof people. =]

Kwanzaa was founded in the late 1960's by Ron Karenga, a U.S. activist.

Proof? If someone says it's a holiday, it's a holiday. Why do you need proof? Do you really need to believe in it? What matters is if those who celebrate it consider it a holiday.

yes kwanza is a real holiday
i believe it is celebrated by some Africans but im not sure
