Every country has superstars...but it really depends on the part of the country that you live in. In the US, people in the south might rather a different type of music than people in the north, so the most popular artist in their state might not be as popular in another state.
It also depends on the time period you are talking about
But there are have singers like Beyonce who are popular throughout the country right now :D

I live in America. We don't really have one super famous singer. It all depends on what genre you like. For me its Queen, even though they're british. I also really like the rapper Nelly. I don't know if you hear a lot of rap
