no, because UK is not situated along any of the plate boundaries or fault lines, there may be occasional small shakes, but nothing major like in japan.

no longer something like Haiti or Chile thank God although the Thames is in threat of flooding which could be catastrophic for the city because it particularly is the midsection of our monetary international. Plus the Underground device, artwork galleries, museums and so on will be wiped out. The Thames barrier become raised 3 cases very last week as a results of surge of water coming up it. The barrier isn't severe adequate if the river rose various metres. The chaos and deaths will be poor. London is in a dip so the safest position will be on larger floor. Coming south out of London this may be Brixton. I examine a e book about this occurring and it turned right into a watch opener, have self belief me.

The UK is in the middle of a tectonic plate so we don't get major Earthquakes very often but we still have hundreds of minor ones every year.

no major earthquakes do not hit the UK, but we do have minor earthquakes which is enough to knock plate's and ornaments about
the last big earthquake to hit the UK was in 2002 Large parts of England and Wales had been hit by an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale.
