where to get songs for my ipod for free?and how to put them on itunes

There are a number of websites that will allow you to do this. One of the most popular ones, which is easy to use, is Limewire. You select the music you want (the website explains how to do this) and when it downloads the music you asked for, get it to open with ITunes. You can do this by setting ITunes as your default player in the "Set Program Access and Defaults" menu. You will find this menu in "Control Panel".
Another good website, which works in the same way, is called Ares.
