It really probably depends on your workplace's policy. If they work on a 'point' system, and don't recognize the weather as inclement enough to warrant not being at work, then they may.

you would need to talk to a lawyer about this. i know near where i live a couple of years ago a gril was forced to come to work when you weren't allowed on the roads and her place of employment was fined $1,000.00. seek some legal advice on this you may be able to fight it. good luck.
