Almost everyone who has Parkinson's disease and everyone who loves them supports stem cell research.
My own mother died a horrible death, her health being otherwise good. She was an alert mind in a body that wouldn't function. She couldn't speak, or swallow her food, medicine, or even water. Stem cell research may not have been able to save her, but other lives might be saved.
Isn't it amazing that the "right to life'ers" want other people to suffer and die terribly rather than allow the use of something, destined for the garbage can, to relieve their horror.
One of the big names with Parkinson's is Michael J. Fox.
