I have a toshiba equium L20 197 which I've owned since christmas 2005 (http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews96420.html) and they are renound for being quite slow.
When my dad bought it he got told that even though it would be really slow, I would still be able to run The Sims 2 on it, but this wasn't the case.
Can anybody reccomend some really good games that don't take up much space that I could play on my laptop sometimes, because I'm usually kicked off the main PC because of my Mums work and I get bored of the internet.

some good games that work on all pcs are theme park world warcraft 3 hearoes chronical all five will work lords of magic ect

Soon Sims Life Stories is coming out and it is supposed to be quite laptop friendly (Feb. 6 2007) and this summer Sims Pet Stories, and winter 2008 Sims Castaway Stories.
