Flashes in the sky?

Has anyone else noticed the amount of people (Strange lights) ?
Can you respond to this question seriously if you have seen weird flashes or strange lights over the UK the last couple of days please.

There has been a comet passing over the US that has been very colorful and at times the light from the tail has had color similar to an aurora . I don't know if you can see it in the UK.

Not over the UK, but I do see those too. Do you mean the flashes before you go to sleep, or in the sky? There are several kinds.
