Hey Girl.... I'm an Aussie too, but I live in the US now....
First of all I would go to a local G.P and ask them to do a blood test to confirm and then no doubt, they'll be able to refer you to a good OB/GYN local to you that can be with you throughout your whole pregnancy - one that will be covered by medicare and ones that would require private health insurance.
Best of luck to you as hubby and I have been trying since last April with no luck.
All the best for a safe and healthy bubs!

Well you can call a doctor to take ablood test and if you don't want to be treated there through your whole pregnancy then you can aska round for good ob clinics- congrats and good luck

Just call your doc and tell them you want a pregnancy test and a pelvic exam (so they can make sure things are okay). Simple.
Congrats on the baby, you sound excited.

congrats all you need to do is find a ob and tell them you took a hpt and it was positive and you would like to make a appointment for prenatal care and they will make a appt and they will most likely do another pt to confirm and you will know what to do from there good luck to you!!!

Congratulations! Not so sure about Australia, but here in the states we pick up the phone, dial the number for the doc, and make the appointment.
