You could get a reptile or a bird, but i don't know a whole lot about those. I think that guinea pigs, bunnies, rats, and chinchillas make good pets. I don't really like gerbils and hamsters, they are too small and tend to bite if not well socialized. But guinea pigs and rats are relatively easy to care for, and when socialized their little personalities come out, and they are SO friendly.

hard Q. as I actually have had each and every of the above as pets and loved all of them. Toss up between dogs and cats. Cats are so self reliant and want little help except some food water and sparkling clutter and grooming. Plus our cats experience when we are no longer as a lot as par and are available round to cuddle and cheer us up. dogs are such unconditional love personified! continuously chuffed to work out me when I get abode. do not carry a grudge. And an truly good exercising software! :) unswerving friends, too!

JMO, but rats are the best small pocket pets if you want low maintenance, very social and affectionate. Easy to feed and they love to play in around the house things syuch as empty tissue and 12 pack boxes. Mine always love the 3" PVC elbows and t's from the plumbing section at LOEWS. Ferrets are fun but can be quite smelly , they poop alot and its like cat poop, sticky and stinky, just being real...lol. If you want to go the scaly way I would suggest a bearded dragon as they dont get huge like an iguana but they become very accustomed to being handled. I like ball pythons or boas as far as snakes go but you have to be able to feed mice and rats and since I love rats I ended up getting rid of my python when she got bigger. Have you checked out ferrets, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats or gerbils? There are all kinds of birds as well!

Well if you like reptiles get a bearded drogon or a snake... They arent that bad... they're acyually fun... Or you can get a bird but that migh be too loud for you

ferrets are cool pets. But they do have an odor. If you can get past that, their great. They DO need a lot of time & attention, so if you don't have that, get something easier.

Get a parrot! There are all differnent types of them and they are REALLY smart, fun, they can learn to talk, they are pretty, and love everyone!

their are plent of animals if you don't like birds their are turtles if you dont like turtles their is always trantulas and snakes rabbits and lizards geckos maybe. hope i helped
