I may be teaching lessons at my home to others who want to learn how to ride and other techniques, the problem is, my friends would ask me, can I come over to ride and I would usually say yes if I'm not busy with my kids. How would I go about telling them I no longer give free lesons. I don't want to come across money hungry, but I would like to tell them in some nice way, I will be charging you for now on, What do you guys think? Thank You.

My mother teaches at home and she had the same problem. She basically told them that this is now her full time job and any teaching willl be charged she just said that she would be losing money and students if they continued to expect free lessons. There is no easy way to tell you just have to tell them straight. If they are true friends they will fully understand and if they get upset then they were not really your friends in the first place.
