is there such thing as a giant shark now a days like the meg shark
which exsited in the stone age.... kinda like people didnt belive there was a giant squid but in 2005 they found a giant squid which is kinda of cool anyways back to my question so is the meg shark stilll alive amd which is the biggest shark today is there a giant shark?

The closest we have today is the relative of the "Megalodon" of long ago. This species is known as the "Great White". The largest "white" caught and recorded, was a whopping 21' long and was caught in 1948.. here is a link to some good info..

Paleontologists have found the fossilized jaws of an ancient ocean predator that is an ancestor of the great white, called Charcharodon megalodon. The size of the jaws indicate the size of the creature may have been as large as 50 feet long! Some scientists argue that it's possible these monsters still exist in the ocean deeps, that we just haven't found them yet.

Like you said about the squid...i think there is somewhere there might be. Maybe not the the feriousious ones that were in the stone age, But maybe like the ones that feed off the dead and roting whales bodies that i saw one time on some Animal Planet show when i stayed in a hotel. I think it would be SWEET if they discovered a giant shark! i mean ya sure scary as hell, but would that not be awesome!!!! lol i know im weird.
There's always the possiblity of some weird mutant giant shark....Maybe?

the biggest shark today is the whale shark which is also the biggest fish their still could be a meg shark somewhere the ocean is huge it is possible the biggest sea creature is the blue whale

The biggest shark alive today is the whale shark.it's mouth is the size of two men bent over...but it's stomach...well that's another story...it's stomach is about the size of a schoolbag.It eat's plancton and other microscopic animals within the water.

the whale shark is the largest of its kind,and the largest known sea creature good luck with your hunt, i lived in florida and got the great priv, of swimming with sharks you got to try it,i study the creatures great fun
