If you order the parts separately then no- but typically if you order a "barebones system" deal that usually means the mobo/CPU has been mounted in the case..

Depends. Mostly the parts are assemble on the computer but depends on what you order. So look and then they will tell you what it has and these are assembled. But go to pcworld.com and they can give you some help. Why order a barebone with a minimum rated power supply when you may need a bigger one. You have to think ahead of what you will need and use. After you finish your dream machine, how much power will you need and use. That is one reason barebones are cheap too. Think ahead on this one. Also, think. If I wanted to go with a faster motherboard, bigger and better, would my old computer case fit. Like I said go scout out in pcworld and look for your answers.

It usually comes with the motherboard you ordered mounted and cpu installed. Check with newegg and see if you can order the barebones with no assembly on their part.

a barebone system typically comes with mobo, cpu, heat sink and fan in a system case.
It's up to you to purchase harddrive/s cd/dvd drives and maybe PSU unless the case comes with power supply .
